Follow these steps to print on envelopes in WordPad:
- Install HP driver for your printer.
- Load envelopes in your printer input tray.
- In Windows, select the Start button.
- Type WordPad and select it from the results.
- Select File, and then Page setup.
- In the Paper section, select the Size drop-down menu, and select the size of the envelopes loaded in your printer.
- Under Orientation, select Landscape.
- Uncheck the checkbox next to Print Page Numbers.
- Decrease the margins to print closer to the edge of the envelope, and then select OK to close Page Setup.
- In the open document, enter the return and recipient addresses to print on the envelope.
- Format the text using the formatting tools on the Home tab.
- Left align the return address, and center the recipient address.
- Select Print.
- The envelopes print as shown in the Print preview.
Follow these steps to print on envelopes in Microsoft Word:
- Install HP driver for your printer.
- Load envelopes in your printer input tray.
- Open a blank document in Microsoft Word.
- On the toolbar, select MAILINGS.
- Select Envelopes.
- Enter the delivery address in the Delivery address field.
- Enter the return address in the Return address field.
- Select Preview.
- From the Envelope Options window, choose the envelope size you are printing on from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Printing Options tab.
- Select the Feed method and tray based on your printer type, and then select OK to print on your envelope.
- The envelope prints according to your selected settings.
